My A to Z needs to slow down

Dear readers,

Sadly I have to say goodbye to the daily challenge. I failed it. I hope you keep going and celebrate in the end, I’ll visit as often as I can.

I still want to share my thoughts with you on the planned topics so I will definitely write them but can’t keep this frequency. Hope you’ll come back though!

Dessert in Transylvania

Kürtős kalács. It’s impossible for me to translate this typical Hungarian sweet that is still made by hand. Loved by kids, adults, elderly, it’s a traditional dish that made it into the 21st century.

It’s become a popular street food but it used to be made for big celebrations: weddings, baptism, important guests. So when you do eat one, taste the honoured welcome of the Hungarian foremothers. And enjoy!
